Hardboiled lozenges


Hardcandies have a solid consistency. They can be made with or without sugar. With sugar glucosesyrup and sugar. Sugarfree on the base of isomalt or sorbitol and the use of different sweeteners. Hardcandies are made with or without filling (liquid/semi-liquid). Hardcandies can be manufactured in both stamping and moulding technologies .

Application:

Active substances are released slowly into the body with the advantages e.g. for sore throat. Hardboiled candies with fillings have the advantage that some active ingredients can be better protected (e.g. against oxidation).

Toffees / Chews

Toffees are chewable candies. With sugar on base of glucose syrup and sugar. Sugarfree on the base of isomalt, maltitol or sorbitol and the use of different sweeteners.

Application:

Used for dietary supplements and medical ingredients (active/exipients). The advantage is that the medical ingredient is absorbed quickly by the body. The dosage level of active ingredients in toffees can be very high and a broad variety of raw materials can be used. Furthermore toffees are favoured by children.

Dragees

Dragees have a core with a coating. The core can be manufactured as a soft or hard core. They can be made with sugar or sugarfree. With sugar glucose syrup and sugar. Sugarfree on the base of isomalt and the use of different sweeteners. The main advantage is the high level of climate stability given by the hard coat which protects the core of the product with the active ingredient. The product appearance is very attractive
